Our work
Case studies.
The engagements we can talk about, written by the people who ran them.
Rebuilding identity for an entire university
A legacy in-house platform, built and patched over 16 years, replaced while the university kept running. Move FWD supplied the core program team, and the program has remained green across scope, schedule and budget throughout.
Close to 1,500 service-provider entity IDs analysed, revealing close to 300 applications requiring migration, maturity 1.4 to a 3.9 target
Read the case study →The team was not the problem. The systems around them were.
An Integration, Data & Analytics function under pressure, a backlog of around 450 items, and the easy answer of more headcount resisted until the friction was found. The backlog fell to 150 using nothing the university did not already own.
Read the case study →The growth ceiling, removed
The firm had no clear IT plan. Disconnected logins were creating compliance risk, manual ATO document processing was eating hours every week, and the practice could not grow past ten staff. We delivered a roadmap of 18 prioritised initiatives, phased Now, Next and Later, with costs and a future state architecture behind every phase.
The outcome: ad hoc tools replaced by an integrated, scalable platform, with offshore teams enabled.
Ready to scale, without the rip and replace
An outdated stack stood between a second firm and an ambitious growth target. We documented the current state, designed the future state architecture and mapped a costed roadmap with dependencies and timeframes. Delivery started immediately: a modern marketing platform, collaboration centralised in SharePoint, and accounting data flowing into Power BI.
The outcome: data-driven decisions from the systems the firm already ran, and a foundation ready for automation.
A warehouse crisis, stopped
Thousands of cartons of abandoned stock, losses compounding monthly, and more than half the inventory already expired. Inside a 60-day clearance and recovery plan we verified and classified every line, coordinated donation partners and structured compliant disposal for what remained.
The outcome: monetisable stock protected, compliance risks closed, and a clear path out of the crisis.
One source of truth for stock
Messy product data made accurate shipping quotes impossible and kept fulfilment manual. We cleansed and standardised the catalogue, implemented a central inventory system and synced stock, pricing and product data to the storefront in real time, with a roadmap for shipping automation and accounting integration to follow.
The outcome: reactive fixes replaced by a clean, scalable foundation for growth.
